Wakefield, MA—The Wakefield Corp. is pleased to announced its continued pursuit of quality management and operation with its recent registration of ISO 9001:2000. The ISO certification was provided by RWTUV USA and covers the manufacture of precision sintered metal parts.

" We began our quest for a quality management system in November 1995, achieved ISO 9002 in January of 1997, and now we're at the ISO 9001:2000 level," states David Clapp, President, Wakefield Corp. "We want our customers to know that we are ahead of the curve and positioned to continue to support them," concludes Clapp.

The ISO 9001:2000 standard has replaced the older ISO 9001:1994 standard while ISO 9002:1994 and ISO 9003:1994 have been discontinued.
